4 Gorgeous Girls! {Adelaide Photographer}

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the divine miss Ada-Mae. This is the fourth beautiful princess to be born to Rachel & James. Miss Ada-Mae was in a rush to be born and in turn made her gorgeous Mummy miss out on her maternity session but about ohhh 18 hours or so!

It was an absolute pleasure meeting this little cherub along with her 3 big doting sisters!

So without further ado, meet Ada-Mae

Tammy, Daniel & the fabulous 3! {Adelaide Family Photographer}

Wow! Where do I start? Many years ago, before children, I used to be a childcare worker. I loved it so much! Interacting on a daily basis with these awesome little people! Anyways….. Tammy was one of my co-workers!

Fast forward 5 or 6 years and here we are today! Tammy and Daniel have had 3 adorable little people of their own! They have since moved away from good old RAdelaide, thanks to the joys of facebook, we have managed to stay in touch all this time! I was so excited when they asked if i would photograph their family!

I had such a good morning with them! It was lovely to see young Isaac again, and it was my first time meeting the girls!

Aren’t they a beautiful family?

I couldn’t decide which photos of the kids to pop up in this sneak peek.. so decided to stick with a theme… black & white!

The spunky little dude isaac! Man i loved this kid! We had a good conversation about rocks and sticks! He will love me forever as I bought some balloons for him and the girls!
Isaac

Beautiful baby Bella! She was so adorable. just goo’s and gah’s and smiles all round!
Bella

Tahlia. Little miss Tahlia! Tammy warned me before the session that i would most likely have trouble with her! I can’t say that I won her over, but I’m pretty sure i became close! She didn’t really want to talk to me much, but I could see her brain ticking over, her eyes alert and watching every move i made! She is one smart little cookie!

Finally the lovely couple! Aren’t they just gorgeous!

Thanks guys so much for meeting up with me! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I’ll have the rest of your gallery up soon!

Happy New Years! {Adelaide Photographer}

To all my fabulous clients, friends and family, I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years!

I did! It is by far my most favorite time of year! Yes it’s crazy, and busy and stressful, but it’s all about love and joy and family! What more could you ask for?

On top of the crazy-ness of Christmas, we’ve had a couple of birthday’s around here!

My beautiful Cayla Jo turned 7. it was a rather emotional day for me! Each year older, is one step that she takes further away from me. i’m no longer her world, her everything, instead I can only sit by and watch, longing to be involved as she makes the transformation from young child to young adult.

Here is a video I made for her.

Next up my baby boy turned 1! What a bitter sweet day that was. We had a joint party for him along with his little bestie who has his birthday 4 days later.

Birthday Boys!

It was so much easier getting a picture of the two of them together when they couldn’t move!

The fabulous cake!
And no they’re not turning 11! There’s a number 1 on there for each of them!

Do you think it’s mean that I laugh every.single.time I look at this photo? He WAS NOT impressed with everyone singing!

I think I must have been the most excited about blowing out the candles….. no one else seems to care! LOL

Then last, but certainly not least, my “baby” girl has just turned 3! Where these past 3 years have gone I’ll never know! She is at the age where she LOVES looking at photos of herself! I made a storyboard and have had it printed for her! She loves it.
Kaity 3rd birthday

So yes! It’s been an insane few weeks but i wouldn’t change a minute!

The Gorgeous Miss Abi! {Adelaide Child Photographer}

I was recently invited in to the home of Glen & Hayley to photograph the most divine little munchkin, Miss Abi! She is a pocket rocket to say the least! So much spirit and spunk! Exactly the way i like my 2 years olds!

We went for a little play out the back, where she quickly grew bored of me and moved on to find far more interesting things! LOL

I had so much fun with this little princess! Thank you for playing with me!

Clicks for kids

Just a quick one from me today.

I was recently approached by local Adelaide photographer Lia Hayes about helping out Clicks for Kids. I was honoured to be able to do something for such a worth cause.

Clicks for Kids is a not for profit organisation, raising money for those less fortunate. Last year, Lia was fortunate enough to take a holiday to Thailand and was touched by the living conditions of many people, but particularly the families with young kids like mine. In the Northern Thailand villages we visited, the living conditions were beyond basic with many families not having even the barest of necessities. In (the many) areas that were devastated by the Tsunami, many have not been able to rebuild and live in half demolished houses with no amenities. Over 15 million people in Thailand live on less than $2.00 a day. While that amount certainly goes further in Thailand than it does in Australia (!!), it is not enough to look after a family and there is no welfare system. Of the 2.8 million prostitutes in Thailand, many have been forced or chosen to take this path due to lack of other options. Young girls in particular are lacking in the education that could make the difference between other employment and entering the sex trade.

I have offered a sitting + prints to the value of $300. This is currently up for auction on Oztion. All money raised will go directly towards helping out these people. Please take a look at the Clicks for Kids page on Facebook

To bid on my package, or any of the packages avaliable please head to Oztion Vshop – Clicks for kids.

And just because I can not do a blog post without a photo, here is one to make you smile!
